Toyota Motor North America reports March 2021 sales in the United States

PLANO, Texas, April 1, 2021 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) today reported sales of 253,783 vehicles in March 2021, an increase of 87 percent in volume and 79.8 percent in sales. daily sales rate (DSR) compared to March 2020.

TMNA reported sales of 603,066 vehicles in the United States, an increase of 21.6 percent in volume and 24.9 percent in daily sales rate for the first quarter.

The Toyota division reported sales of 220,597 vehicles in March, an increase of 83.6 percent in volume and 76.5 percent in daily sales rate. Toyota reported sales of 528,813 vehicles, an increase of 20.3 percent in volume and 23.6 percent in daily sales rate for the quarter.

The Lexus division reported sales of 33,186 vehicles in March, an increase of 112.9 percent in volume and 104.7 percent in daily sales rate. Lexus reported sales of 74,253 vehicles for the quarter, an increase of 31.8 percent in volume and 35.3 percent in daily sales rate.
